Basic introduction of blades

At present, commonly used surgical blades are divided into No. 10, 11, 12, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24.

No. 10, No. 20-24 No. 10 and No. 20-24 blades are used to cut skin, subcutaneous, muscle, periosteum and other tissues.

No. 11: No. 11 blade is used to cut blood vessels, nerves, gastrointestinal tract and heart tissue.

No. 12: No. 12 blade is used for knee and ENT surgery.

No. 15: No. 15 blade is used for deep tissue and tissue cutting in ophthalmology, coronary artery bypass grafting and other surgeries.
